The two retail versions of The Wonderful 101: Remastered will be released a little later than expected for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The remaster continues to appear here in May 2020.
Fans of The Wonderful 101: Remastered who have an eye on the physical version for PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch will now have to wait a bit longer than expected for the release of the new edition. The Platinum Games team announced via Twitter that the coronavirus pandemic required new dates for the retail versions. Accordingly, The Wonderful 101: Remastered in Europe will only be released on July 3, 2020.
Nothing has changed in the release of the digital version. The game will continue to be available for PC, PS4 and Switch from May 22, 2020. The Platinum Games title was funded a few weeks ago as a Kickstarter project. In one day, the game was able to make a million dollars.
With the remaster, fans can look forward to a nicer look and improved controls. A 2D game called "Luka's First Mission" has also been added to The Wonderful 101: Remastered thanks to funding. The original was released in August 2013 exclusively for the Wii U by Nintendo.
