The last week of WoW Battle for Azeroth is running and if you want to quickly do one or the other mythical dungeon, you might get a nasty surprise. Because for several reasons, the M + instances are significantly more demanding this week than before – regardless of the affixes.
WoW Battle for Azeroth is not officially over yet, but most players have long been thinking about Shadowlands. One or the other is still active in BfA and also on the road outside of the pre-event – in raids or Mythic Plus dungeons. The latter, however, could cause one or two nasty surprises this week. Because with Patch 9.0.2, which was applied last Wednesday, the scaling of the Mythic Plus levels has changed. The level of difficulty increases significantly faster and dungeons at the same level are much more difficult this week than in the previous ID. The adjustments that were made when the spoilage effects were introduced were thus reversed.
But that is not all. With the ID change, the announced Nerf was also installed on various pieces of jewelry, which at the same time reduced the DpS of most classes and thus indirectly made the dungeons more difficult. In any case, in guild and general channels or in the forums you can find some players who are wondering why they can no longer manage keystones that were not a problem in the past week. In addition, some bugs seem to have found their way into the changes. The Bursting affix already seems to be scaled for level 60 characters and does way too much damage.
In the following table you can see the different scalings and how big the difference is on the individual levels.
