Netflix, Disney + & Co: These are the most streamed series in 2020 – Gamesaktuell
The Consumer Electronics Show is not only about gaming, but also about other types of entertainment – including streaming services. In line with this, Nielsen has published a ranking list of those films and series that had the most streaming minutes in the past year. It made no difference whether the projects were self-produced (originals) or purchased.
The series The Office, which can currently be seen in the USA on the streaming service Peacock, is in first place by a huge margin. It came to almost exactly 57.1 billion streaming minutes in 2020, which the pursuers do not even begin to achieve. In second place is the doctor series Grey's Anatomy with 39.4 billion minutes, followed by Criminal Minds with 35.4 billion. Only in fourth place is original content, Ozark (30.5 billion) – in this case from Netlfix. Star Wars: The Mandalorian came to a total of 14.5 billion streaming minutes last year, which was enough for 13th place. Here is an overview of the top 15 series:
