The Pokémon Company presented its latest project as part of a "Pokémon Presents" event. Together with Tencent, the company announces Pokémon Unite – a team battle that is very reminiscent of League of Legends.
In teams of 5, Pokémon Unite is about collecting more points than the opposing team. Wild Pokémon and platforms are available for this, which must be captured and protected.
Another goal is to level the pocket monsters so that they can learn new skills and develop further. Later, with their unique unite moves, they can inflict high damage on opponents.
Pokémon Unite: The reactions are clear
"The apple does not fall far from the tree," is reflected in the latest announcement from the Pokémon Company and Tencent. Tencent bought Riot years ago and they are behind the successful free-to-play MOBA League of Legends. Do you notice that at Pokémon Unite? The answer is very clear: yes. And the fans are not enthusiastic:
When Pokémon Unite is released has not been revealed yet, but the game will be available as a mobile and switch version. Further information will follow.
