New Netflix documentary revolves around the "golden age" of video games

from Dominik Zwingmann
High Score is a new mini documentary on Netflix that will grapple with the "golden age" of video games. In the individual episodes there are interviews with various pioneers in the industry who were responsible for games such as Final Fantasy, Doom, Mortal Kombat or Sonic the Hedgehog.

Netflix will release a documentary called High Score on August 19. A total of six episodes deal with the "golden age" of video games and the "revolutionary moments" of industry. However, there are no details on the individual episodes yet. However, in the first promotional material, games and companies such as Nintendo, Sega, Space Invaders, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter 2, Doom, Mortal Kombat, Sonic the Hedgehog, Madden NFL and Pac-Man were mentioned as part of the documentary.

High Score will tell the stories of various pioneers and artists who invented or played a major role in the brands mentioned above. There is not yet a trailer for the documentation. As soon as there is a first video from Netflix, we will keep you up to date here. Just a few days ago, Netflix and Ubisoft announced new series on Splinter Cell and Beyond Good & Evil.

The second is even accompanied by director Rob Letterman, who was responsible, among other things, for the film adaptation by master detective Pikachu. In general, Netflix has worked for several series of well-known video game brands in recent years. These include, for example, The Witcher or Castlevania. Especially at The Witcher, fans can not only look forward to a new season, but also several spinoffs.
