For 11.99 a month you get:

  • 1,000 V-Bucks per month
  • A new exclusive outfit every month
  • The current season's Battle Pass

The 1,000 V-Bucks cost a good 8 euros in the shop, the prices for skins vary depending on the rarity and cost between 800 and 2,000 V-Bucks. It should be noted that V-Bucks, as is usual with every in-game shop, can only be bought in fixed increments. If you don't have V-Bucks and want a skin for 800, you have to buy 1,000 V-Bucks for 8 euros.

The Battle Pass, bought individually, costs 950 V-Bucks, the catch is there's not a new Battle Pass every month. The four seasons of the second chapter were very inconsistent in length and lasted 18, 16, 10 and 14 weeks, respectively. That means, what you get for your 12 euros varies from month to month, depending on whether there is a new Battle Pass or not.

Since the subscription can be canceled monthly, it can be worthwhile, in each case activate the crew membership at the start of a new season. Everything you get as a crew member can be kept even after the termination. As far as the content itself is concerned, Epic Games is also quite user-friendly, if you want to take out a subscription and have already bought the Battle Pass, you will get the 950 V-Bucks. The exclusive outfits are only available for crew members, but Epic Games will always tell you what the outfit will look like before the start of the next subscription month. So you can make your decision based on the new outfit, whether you stay with it for another month.

So if you buy skins every month anyway and the exclusive outfits are of high quality (and you like them), then the subscription may be worthwhile. Otherwise, the crew membership is more worth a look at the start of a new season, provided you know what to do with the 1,000 V-Bucks. Otherwise, Battle Pass 950 V-Bucks is the cheapest option.
