Sony and Sucker Punch have released another trailer for Ghost of Tsushima. There is no new gameplay to be seen this time, but the video atmospherically prepares the players for the upcoming release of the PS4 game. It is the last major Sony exclusive title to be released for the current generation of PlayStation. Ghost of Tsushima will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4 from July 17, 2020.
Fans of Ghost of Tsushima have to wait almost three weeks for the game to be released. In order to shorten the waiting time a bit, the people in charge of Sony Interactive Entertainment and the Sucker Punch team have now released another trailer that atmospherically sets you up for the title. The video is called "A storm is coming" and focuses on the samurai code.
"Tsushima is on the brink of destruction. After a crushing defeat against an invasion of merciless Mongols, the honorable samurai Jin Sakai must sacrifice everything to save what is left of his homeland and his people. On his epic adventure [… ] he has to break the samurai traditions, learn unconventional methods and take a new path – the path of the spirit. "
Ghost of Tsushima will be released on July 17, 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4. Already in May, the developers released over 18 minutes of new gameplay for the game. Our preview also gives you further details on the last major exclusive title of the current PlayStation generation. Just last week, the makers of Sucker Punch announced gold status for Ghost of Tsushima. So nothing stands in the way of the release. Before the samurai title, the studio was best known for several projects in the Infamous series, which are also PlayStation exclusive.
