Blizzard has released a new trailer for Diablo Immortal as part of ChinaJoy 2020. The video shows Baal, the villain from Diablo II: Lords of Destruction as well as new character models and various gameplay scenes. However, the developers forego a detail that is actually typical for Diablo games.
Blizzard is currently proving that Diablo Immortal as a mobile game is primarily tailored to the Asian market with the release of a new trailer as part of ChinaJoy 2020, the largest gaming trade fair in China. In addition to new gameplay scenes, the trailer also shows Oberfiesling Baal as well as new character models and a revised user interface. The developers have also launched a new website that is aimed specifically at Chinese users and contains new game assets.
Baal, boss fights, multiplayer – but no blood?
Here you can see the trailer, uploaded to Youtube from BlizzPlanet (Blizzard has not yet published the trailer in their own channel):
We see among other things the playable classes Paladin, Sorceress, Monk, Necromancer, Demon Hunter and Barbarian with their new character models and including individual combat skills. Blizzard also gives a clear view of multiplayer gameplay and boss fights. We also see Baal, who last made life difficult for us in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
What is striking: blood is missing in the entire trailer. Blizzard will probably release the Diablo mobile game in China because of the restrictions that apply there without corresponding gore effects. Still, a Diablo without blood effects looks kind of strange, or what do you think? How do you like the trailer as a whole? Let us know and let us know what you think in the comments!
