Square Enix has released another update to Final Fantasy 14 that paves the way for the upcoming Endwalker expansion. Among other things, players can look forward to the conclusion of the Shadowbringers story. Patch 5.55 also introduces a new chapter in the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse crossover quest series. In addition, there is another region with Zadnor as well as a higher upper limit for the resistance rank, which is now 25.

Parallel to the new version for the role-playing game, the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 14 is now officially launched. The game for the next-gen console was released in an open beta last month. The highlights of the optimized version include an improved frame rate, faster loading times, 4K output, DualSense support, additional trophies and support for 3D audio. If you own Final Fantasy 14 for PS4, the upgrade is available to you for free.

On November 23, 2021, Endwalker will be the next expansion for the role-playing game. Square Enix recently released a trailer that you can watch at the end of the message. For example, the expansion will introduce numerous new jobs. In addition, fans can look forward to an increased level limit, extensive areas and an adaptation of the combat system.
