The third part of the popular Pikmin series will be released on October 30th for the Nintendo Switch. The strategy game that made its debut in 2013 on the Wii U celebrated, also gets some new content.
A press release reveals that there will be additional levels of difficulty and new missions. In addition, more await you cooperative game modes and a prologue and epilogue chapter with the heroes Olimar and Louie.
You can buy the Switch required for the game for 319.73 euros on Amazon. At MediaMarkt you can find the Nintendo console for 321.67 euros. (Prices and availability at the time this report was created).
However, the adventurous exploration missions have their price. Although Pikmin 3 is already seven years old, Nintendo is asking again 60 euro for the game. The Wii U version, which is significantly cheaper at 25 euros, was removed from the eShop away.
It is not the first time that Nintendo brings a Wii U game to the Switch at full price. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is also only available on the Switch for 60 euros.
