Nintendo Direct: GameStop list indicates new edition
A GameStop list has appeared on the Internet, which contains a total of twelve placeholders for unannounced Nintendo Switch games. Accordingly, a new Nintendo Direct edition could be imminent. In recent years, Nintendo has had a broadcast with numerous new announcements in January or February.
According to a current GameStop list, Nintendo fans will soon be able to look forward to a new edition of Nintendo Direct. In the run-up to a transfer, placeholders for games that are announced as part of Nintendo Direct often appear in the databases of various retailers. A total of twelve of these placeholders for Nintendo Switch can now be found on the GameStop list mentioned. Twitter user YuYuKamii also recently published a photo of the document.
So far, however, no further details on the games are available from the list. In general, however, it's no big surprise that Nintendo will be broadcasting a new Nintendo Direct in the coming weeks. In recent years there has always been an issue with many new announcements in January or February. The last Nintendo Direct was also quite a while ago. Most recently, there was a broadcast in September 2019 with games like Luigi's Mansion 3 or Pokémon Sword & Shield, which have already been released in the past few months.
In addition to several new announcements, fans will also be able to look forward to new information about Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the next Nintendo Direct, which will be released on March 20, 2020 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. It will also show whether Nintendo will present new material for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 or Metroid Prime 4 this year.
