An exclusive bundle with a Nintendo Switch and the Battle Royale shooter Fortnite will appear shortly in selected regions. The package is expected to come onto the market in Europe from October 30, 2020 and contain some interesting extras. Information on the price is not yet known.
If you've been toying with both the purchase of a Nintendo Switch and the entry into the battle royale shooter Fortnite, you should be patient a little longer. As Nintendo of Europe has announced, a new bundle will soon appear in selected regions – including Germany.

This "Special Edition" package contains a Nintendo Switch in Fortnite design. In addition, the exclusive Joy-Con controller is yellow and blue, which matches the design of a certain in-game costume. The Battle Royale shooter is preinstalled on the Switch console so you don't have to download it first. On top of it there is a Wildcat bundle code that gives you access to the outfit of the same name, two additional styles and a total of 2,000 V-Bucks. The latter is Fortnite's in-game currency, which you can use to shop in the corresponding shop. Usually 1,000 V-Bucks cost around ten euros, a package with 2,800 V-Bucks costs 25 euros.
Speaking of price: how expensive the new Fortnite (buy now € 15.43 )-Bundle with the Nintendo Switch is not yet known. A similar package from 2018 was available for around $ 300. The new variant is likely to be at a similarly high price level. The release in Europe and thus also in Germany is planned for October 30, 2020. Australian fans, however, have to wait until November 6th.
