Online role-playing game has a release date for PC
At E3 2019, the Japanese game Phantasy Star Online 2 was announced for the western market. Publisher Sega announced that the second part of the MMORPG will be released in North America in May after the release for Xbox for the PC.
The Free2Play online role-playing game has a PC release date for North America. It was already known in April that publisher Sega is aiming for a release in late May. There is now more information on this. The game, which was previously only released in Japan, is scheduled for release on May 27, 2020 in North America for PC. However, the title will not be available on Steam for the time being, but via the Microsoft Store. The reason for this could be the Xbox version, which has been playable since April.
The release in North America comes with a completely English voice output as well as all updates that have been published in Japan so far. In addition, the PC release will have a fully functional cross-platform feature, allowing players on the Xbox and PC to move together into the fantasy world. However, when the title will be available on Steam – and yes a release for Steam is planned – is not yet clear.
The online role-playing MMO Phantasy Star Online 2 (buy now for € 64.95) will be released on May 27, 2020 in the American Microsoft Store and is free to play. It is not yet known when a release will take place in Europe. But since there is no region lock, you can also play from Europe. However, it is questionable whether there will also be European servers and information about a release in this country.
