The 21st ladder season in "Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls" began on Friday, July 3rd, 2020. In the following post we show you which builds are suitable for which situations.

Solo Greater Rift Push Builds

Do you want to try your luck in the solo ranking again in the latest Diablo 3 season? Then you should try the following builds.

The barbarian

With patch 2.6.7, some items have been upgraded that do the damage of Mangle increase, making this build the currently strongest barbar build. The big advantage is also the simplicity of the game, which should appeal to both experienced and inexperienced players alike.

The crusader

The crusader got the new set in the 19th ladder season "Aegis of bravery", which dominated the rankings after a short time. Even if that build was weakened again in the 21st ladder season, it nevertheless turns out to be the currently strongest crusader build and will therefore also be the best in the coming months Show choice for solo pushes.

The demon hunter

In patch 2.6.9, demon hunters were given the "Gear of Terror" set. Combined with some upgrades to support items, this new set has become the strongest choice for demon hunters. This is due to the high basic movement speed and a similar style of play to the barbarian build mentioned above.

If you want to try something new, you should give the demon hunter a chance.

The monk

The monk received no adjustments this season, which means that nothing has changed in the power structure of the individual builds. From Paragon level 1500 at the latest, Sunwuko will once again be the best choice for solo greater rift pushes.

The necromancer

Also in the 21st ladder season "Masquerade of the Burning Carnival" will give the necromancer a new set – unfortunately, in the numerous PTR tests it has not turned out to be a very high performing deck. For solo rifts, you will therefore fall back on a LoD build that is not only extremely durable, but also does not require large cooldowns.

The witch doctor

Last season, the witch doctor got the new Mundunugu's set, which made Spirit Barrage mutate into a really strong AoE ability. Even with the slowdowns in the 21st season, nothing has changed – so the new set will again be the strongest choice for performance-oriented witch doctors.

The Wizard

The magicians suffered a similar fate to that of the monks – so that nothing has changed here in the new season. It is different with the builds: Here a new variation of the classic Archon build has emerged as extremely powerful and should therefore be the best choice for magicians in the coming season.

Would you like to switch off a little? Reduce stress? Collect materials? Then we have a small selection of strong speed farming builds for T16 rifts, bounties or simply low-sized larger rifts below.

S-tier – demon hunter

In his current version of the Speed Run, the demon hunter is reminiscent of the almost unbeaten king of the Speed Runs: the monk. This season you can not only "shave off" the entire screen with the demon hunter, but you are also incredibly fast on the go.

As a result, subsequent builds are particularly suitable for farming low difficulty levels.

S-tier – barbarian

The classic whirlwind barbarian is characterized not only by its extremely high speed of movement, but also by extremely high damage. In the best case scenario, you only have to interrupt your frenzy to collect items – especially in larger rifts, this build can fully exploit its potential.

No other class lets you farm items, experience points and gem levels as efficiently as the Whirlwind Barbarian this season.

A tier – monk

While the barbarian shows his full potential, especially in larger rifts, the monk is the best choice for farming normal rifts and bounties. The wave-of-light build's teleport capability means that you are extremely mobile and can take care of everything Opponents in no time.

The range of the wave-of-light also drops items before you are on the enemy. This has the advantage that the drop animation can be skipped and the last few seconds can also be saved.

A-tier – necromancer

The necromancer also has a large number of strong speed-run builds – but these are slightly behind in efficiency in terms of efficiency.

B-tier – witch doctor

The Mundunugu set has a strong damage output, but lacks some speed increases. If the witch doctor had a stronger mobility spell, they would probably be listed higher.

C tier – crusader

The Crusader sees itself as one of the strongest classes in the game – but also as one of the slowest classes. Therefore, the crusader is probably the least suitable for speed runs.

C-tier – magician

The big problem of the Archon magicians is always the dependence on cooldowns. When the build has "started", it sees itself as a solid option for speed runs. Another problem is simply the fact that other classes are increasingly getting tools to help them with speed runs – but the magician has been stagnating in this regard for a long time.
