Patch 5.25 for Final Fantasy 14 will be released on April 7, bringing the quest lines for the weapons of resistance and new crafting equipment.

With the release of Patch 5.25, we will finally be able to pounce on the last content that was announced for Patch 5.2 "Echoes of a Fallen Star". With the Orders of the weapons of resistance begins the Shadowbringers era relic weapon questline. Just in time for the announcement for 5.25, Square Enix has again revised the info page of the update and gives us another taste of the Weapons of resistance:

"In the south of Ilsabard, a province of the Empire, lies the Bozja region, which is also known as the home of the Hrothgar. The inhabitants of Bozja have long been under the yoke of the Empire, but resistance has been growing here since the liberation of Doma and Ala Mhigo. And at the heart of the resistance movement is a unifying symbol: the legendary queen watch! "

How grind-heavy the corresponding tasks will be cannot be assessed at the moment. Of course, Patch 5.25 has a lot more in store, because the artisans should also get their money's worth again. The Sky Steel tools allow us to acquire powerful crafting equipment and to upgrade it over and over again over several updates.

Patch 5.25 is scheduled for release on April 7, 2020. You can find out more about this at updated overview page.
