Samsung officials have announced the end of their own PlayGalaxy Link streaming service. The service will be discontinued on March 27, 2020. However, details for the end have not yet been announced. With the service, games could be streamed from PC to mobile devices.

In the past few months, more and more providers have ventured into the streaming market. However, those responsible from Samsung have now quietly announced the end of their offer called "PlayGalaxy Link". Already on February 26, 2020 the end of the service was confirmed – but nobody really noticed. PlayLink Galaxy servers will be shut down on March 27, 2020.

Samsung has not yet announced a reason for the setting. Only internal reasons are mentioned. PlayGalaxy Link was launched as a beta just four months ago. Compared to other platforms, PlayGalaxy Link was only compatible with Galaxy models. In the future, Samsung executives will team up with the Microsoft team to improve the xCloud experience. In February, xCloud was launched for iOS, among other things.
