Temtem will soon no longer be reserved for PC gamers only. Developer CremaGames has now announced another port. At the end of the year, the game should also appear for the PlayStation 5.
If you're looking for an alternative to Pokémon, Temtem could be for you. So far, the game is only available on Steam, but that should change at the end of the year. As part of yesterday's State of Play event, an announcement trailer for the PlayStation 5 released.
If you would like to know more about the event, we recommend our summary.
Temtem started with a Kickstarter campaign
In 2018 the developers at Temtem started a Kickstarter campaign to make the game a success, you might think, because instead of the desired 70,000, the project raised around $ 574,000. But what exactly is the game about?
You slip into the role of a Temtem novice who begins his journey around the six islands of the Flying Archipelago, while he and the Temtems face the threat posed by the Belsoto clan. Temtems are creatures that you can train and that can be assigned to 12 elements. The gameplay is largely inspired by Pokémon.
Temtem is still in Early Access and is available on Steam. The game will also be released for PlayStation 5 later this year, but a switch version is also planned. There is no exact release date for either version.
