Pokémon Go: Change of Seasons

In Pokémon Go, the developers of Niantic will soon be hosting the fashion event for Paris Fashion Week and the Longchamp cooperation, and then the newly announced event for the change of seasons will continue before we slowly approach Halloween. The Fall Event Change of Seasons ensures that berries are twice as effective when you give them to your buddy to feed – and there are also double the amount of candy from Pokémon that you can catch with a Sanana berry. In addition, PokéStops will give you more berries and a limited amount of research on the autumn event that revolves around berries. We'll update the Steps and Rewards for the Termination Research once the event goes live.

Plant-like Pokémon and a completely new pocket monster, namely the seasonal Pokémon Sesokitz in its autumn form, appear in the wild! On top of that, with luck, you can catch a dazzling Kanto Vulpix! You will find all the important information about the event below.

Update from October 9, 2020:

In view of the fact that the event did not start at 8:00 am, it can be assumed that the developers "translated" the time incorrectly. So don't expect the event to start until 5:00 p.m. It should then end on October 12, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. our time. We have adjusted the times in the overview. We have also already created steps for the temporary research for the fall event.

  • The Seasons Change event begins on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and ends on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. (local time)
  • During this event, berries are twice as effective if you feed them to your buddy Pokémon. You will also receive double candy for catching Pokémon that you have given a Sanana Berry. Plus, you'll get more berries by spinning the Photo Discs in PokéStops and Arenas!
  • Pokémon feel the seasons change! Therefore you will find the following Pokémon more often in the wild: Myrapla, Vulpix, Bay leaf, Hoothoot, Mogelbaum, Yanma, Tannza, Zigzachs, Samurzel, Knilz, Burmy (plant cape) and Camouflage Pignon. If you are lucky, you may encounter Shimmering Vulpix that come from the Kanto region!
  • Autumn Pokémon hatch from 5 km eggs.
  • The Seasonal Pokémon Sesokitz appears for the first time in Pokémon GO! This Pokémon's fur and smell changes with the change of the seasons. Look out for Sesokitz in autumn form!
  • To hatch eggs you only have to travel a quarter of the usual distance.

By the way, from October 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. there will be a lot to do with the Pokémon that you can hatch from eggs. It's definitely time! Apparently there will be another event between October 12, 2020 and October 19, 2020.
