Pokémon Go: Deoxys (normal form) as a raid boss

Long, long ago! The last time a Deoxys showed up in Pokémon Go as a raid boss was in its initiative form in summer 2019. The fact that Deoxys could be combated in the normal form in the EX raids was last possible in autumn 2018 – and as I said, only within the scope of the EX raids. If you couldn't get an invitation at the time, you had to wait almost two years for the return of the mysterious Pokémon. But now the time has come! As part of the Enigma Week hyper-bonus event, which was released by the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 players, Deoxys (normal form) is in the Tier 5 raids for a week. Reason enough for us to provide you with a current counter-guide to Deoxys! By the way, with luck you can also get the pocket monster in its shiny version! We hope you enjoy hunting!

Pokémon Go: Deoxys (normal form) as a raid boss

As already mentioned, Deoxys is a mysterious Pokémon and belongs to the Psycho type and should therefore be challenged to fight with unlight or spirit attackers. As a raid boss, Deoxys (normal form) has 50,271 CP and is boosted to level 25 in windy weather. Accordingly, his possible immediate attack Zen head butt and charge attack Psyschub then cause more damage – luckily, in particular, unlight attackers put it relatively well without batting an eyelid. Deoxys (normal form) can also use charging beam (electric, immediate), lightning cannon (electric, charging) and hyper-beam (normal, charging), but that should not be too dangerous for your selected fighters either. If you want your unlight and spirit fighters to really punch in, then you attack Deoxys (normal form) in fog.

You should go into battle with the following Pokémon:

  • Giratina (archetype) with dark claw and spooky ball
  • Skelabra with burden and spooky ball
  • Darkrai with timpani and dark aura
  • Trikephalo with bite and dark aura
  • Despotar with bite and crunch
  • Mewtwo with psycho blade and haunted ball
  • Genesect with anger blade and cross shears
  • Snibunna with timpani and parasite
  • Gengar with dark claw and spooky ball
  • Regigigas with power server and gigastoss
  • Scherox with anger blade and cross shears
  • Banette with dark claw and spooky ball

Pokémon Go: Catch Deoxys (normal form)

If you have successfully completed the fight against Deoxys (normal form), the free routine follows and you have the chance to banish the pocket monster in your Poké Ball. Then Deoxys (normal form) at level 20 with 100% IV values has 1,806 CP. If Deoxys (normal form) is boosted at level 25 in windy weather, then it has 2,257 CP with perfect 100% IV values. We wish you much success in hunting!
