There is an issue in Pokémon Go with the Limited Research Hyber Bonus 2020, which was activated for Dragon Week. Players reported that it was switched off too early and the developers responded with a hotfix – but this does not work for all coaches. Therefore there will be a balancing research.
The developers of Pokémon Go have screwed up the timing for the deactivation of the Limited Research Hyperbonus 2020, which became available in the game for Dragon Week. Wouldn't be the first time, even with the introduction of the temporary research on the nostalgia challenges, there were already problems with the timing.
The limited research Hyperbonus 2020 for Dragon Week should not be deactivated until this evening, on August 7, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. our time, but could not be done by many players before that. The research has simply disappeared. In response to the problem, the creators of Pokémon Go have installed a hotfix that makes the Limited Research Hyperbonus 2020 available until August 8, 2020, 5:00 p.m. local time. However, you may have to reinstall Pokémon Go to see the research in the Today tab again.
But now there is a new problem, as the developers tweeted shortly after the hotfix was reported. Because even reinstalling the app does not ensure that all players with unfinished research reappear. The consequence of this is now that there should be a new temporary research to compensate. The content, tasks, steps and rewards for this are not yet known, the people at Niantic want to share this information with you in the near future. Whether that means that the Enigma week will start later is not known at the moment.
