Have you already got hold of or done the special research A dazzling distraction in Pokémon Go? If you answer any of these questions with no, then your reminder will come: Jessie & James will be doing the bend again on February 28, 2021 – the special research for Shiny Celebi will be much more difficult to solve.

In December 2020, two rather unusual characters launched special research in Pokémon Go, namely Jessie and James from Team Rocket. Usually, special research is more of Prof. Willow's specialty. The special research "A dazzling distraction" comes from Jessie and James, because the two characters promote the start of the film Secrets of the Jungle. And because of that, they're also part of the Steps and Rewards of A Shimmering Distraction That You Can Use to Grab a Shiny Celebi.

The developers of Pokémon Go point out this fact, because on February 28, 2021, Jessie and James will do the bend again with their Meowth balloon. In other words: If you have not yet completed the special research for Shiny Celebi, but you do not want it to be lying around openly and unfinished in the next few months, then you should pull up. Step 3 of A Dazzling Distraction requires, among other things, that you defeat Jessie or James four times. And that's hardly possible with Jessie and James saying goodbye to the game.

A note also to Pokémon Go players who have not logged into the game since mid-December 2020: You will no longer be able to receive special research from February 28, 2021. If you want a Shiny Celebi, then at least log in until then to activate the research. Jessie and James are sure to see each other again sometime in 2021.
