With a large Pokémon Direct, Nintendo is already starting the new year at full throttle at the beginning of January. A new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon for the Switch has been announced, you can find out everything about it here. In addition, there is a lot of new content for sword & shield in the form of an expansion pass, you can find out everything in this post. The new Pokémon Home service will also be launched in February.
A new feature was distributed immediately after the Direct update: You can now catch a Flegmon in a special Galar version! Where can you find the Flegmon and how do you catch it, what skills and stats does it also have? You can find out all here!

So you catch Flegmon in sword & shield
First you have to update the Pokémon sword or Pokémon shield. If this has not already been seen, the switch in the home menu goes to the game icon, presses the controller's plus button and updates the game – that should go quickly.
Now go to Brassbury (pretty much at the beginning of the game) and go to the train station directly under the Pokémon Center. Depending on which version you play, you will meet one of the two new rivals for the expansion pass. Talk to the person and you will see a short cutscene promoting the DLC.
Now a flegmon suddenly appears in the middle of the room! For safety's sake it is best to save again, then you stand in battle and can catch the Galar Flegmon. If you use a strong ball, you can most likely catch the pocket monster directly without first weakening it. A flotball in round one is also a promising option.
Properties of Galar-Flegmon
The Galar Flegmon masters three attacks: Howler, Acid and Yawn. It is at level 12. It does not yet appear in the Galar Pokédex because it does not yet contain any new entries for the pocket monsters from the expansion pass – this also includes Flegmon.
With the matching item from "The Isle of Armor" (released in June) you can develop Flegmon into Lahmus. With the right item from "The Snow Land of the Crown" you can turn Flegmon into Laschoking.
