In just a few days you will have a new way to order a Playstation 5. The dealer Medimax has announced the date for the 3rd wave.
PS5 copies will soon be available to order again
As Medimax announced on Facebook, you can order the PS5 online on November 19th. So right on the day of the release. However, it is unclear when the consoles will be delivered. Medimax also stated that you cannot buy any devices in stores. You have to order the console online. If you order the PS5 on November 19th, it will of course reach you after the official launch. But at least there is still a way to get to the console.
Gamestop will also allow new orders for the PS5 from November 19th. It is currently unclear whether other retailers such as Media Markt, Saturn, Amazon or Otto will also be offering more copies on November 19. You should therefore keep an eye on the online shops on this date. Also keep in mind that the consoles are sure to sell out very quickly. Not only do those who have not yet been able to get hold of a PS5 want to have a PS5, there are certainly scalpers on the road again who would then like to sell the consoles on at high prices on Ebay.
The scalper problem has gotten out of hand this year, which is not only evident from the Playstation 5 consoles, which sold out quickly (buy now ) and Xbox Series X, but also on the Nvidia graphics cards RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070. Even the AMD processors of the Zen 3 generation, which were launched on November 5th, sold out within minutes and are now showing up at moon prices on Ebay.
Since Medimax has not yet announced the time for the launch of the PS5 on November 19th, you should be particularly attentive on this day. You can find out more about the Playstation 5 in our Test of the next-gen console from Sony.
