PS Plus: The "free" games in December 2020
Sony calls the "free" games for PS Plus in December 2020. In the new month, users of the online service will also receive additional games. Just Cause 4, Worms Rumble and Rocket Arena will be available for download in December. You will start the downloads as usual in around a week: The new PS Plus games for December 2020 will be available for download on the PSN from December 1, 2020. Practical: Thanks to the backward compatibility of the PS5, the PS Plus games can also be played on the new Sony console. You have time throughout December to link the games to your PSN profile.
To get access to the PS Plus games, you need an active membership: The annual subscription usually costs around 60 euros. In the current Black Friday Sale 2020 you get the 12-month membership for 44.99 euros. PS5 players will continue to have access to the PS5 version of Bugsnax with their PS Plus subscription – the adventure will be available in the Plus program until January 2021. The PS Plus Collection is also still available on PlayStation 5: The game collection contains 20 PS4 games, including Bloodborne, Fallout 4 and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
Until the new "free" games for PS Plus are activated in December 2020, you will still have access to the two PS4 games that Sony distributed to members in November: Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition for PS4. Sony previously announced that even after the PS5 release, subscribers will initially continue to receive two PS4 games per month. Gradually, the game selection will also be expanded to include PS5 games.
