This means that the Free2Play shooter can be played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X just in time for the launch. So far, neither Sony nor Microsoft has given specific dates for their new consoles. Recently, there were indications that the Xbox Series X could come onto the market in November. Sony's PlayStation 5 is also expected to launch in the penultimate month of the year.
Technical improvements for Hyper Scape are initially not expected for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The developer said in the interview mentioned that it is the same version as for the current PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. However, a later update is not out of the question: "We are currently looking at the development of special features and performance optimizations for the next-gen consoles," says Guyot.
Higher resolutions and frame rates would be possible for the free battle royale shooter. Hyper Scape supports cross-save and crossplay. As soon as the BR shooter is released for PS4 and Xbox One later this summer, progress made in it can later be continued on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The same also applies to all current PC players of the Battle Royale shooter, should they later want to switch to PS5 or Xbox Series X. Hyper Scape is currently in an open PC beta.
