New photos of the DualSense controller for PS5 have appeared via the short message service Twitter. The user "Galaxy666" shows the new PlayStation 5 gamepad from all perspectives – and even confirms details about the battery. According to the report, a battery with a capacity of 1,560 mAh is built into the DualSense controller. For comparison: The current DualShock 4 for PS4 has a 1,000 mAh battery. Previously there were reports that the battery life of the new PS5 controller should be longer than that of the PS4 pads. Sony's new console is slated to hit the market in late 2020.

Sony had already presented the DualSense controller for PS5 in detail. The company is still hiding specific information about the battery. These seem to have now reached the public via the "Galaxy666" Twitter channel. The user, who apparently works for an accessories company, not only shows new photos of the PlayStation 5 gamdepad in his profile, but also confirms information about the built-in battery. The battery integrated in the DualSense has a capacity of 1,560 mAh. This would make the battery stronger than that of the Dualshock 4 controller for PS4: Sony is currently installing a 1,000 mAh battery (800 mAh in earlier models).

The information is consistent with previous rumors DualSense controller battery for PlayStation 5. Already at the beginning of August there were reports that the battery life of the new gamepad should be around three to four hours longer than that of the PS4 controller.
