Sony used the current event for PS5 to do the first Design of the new console showcase. The PlayStation 5 already looks good DualSense controller introduced a few months ago. "This time we took a different direction and opted for a two-tone design," the company said when it presented the PlayStation 5 controller. The console design is also in this color scheme – blue LEDs are housed. Sony also used the PS5 show as a platform to give a further look at the DualSense controller.
In the following trailer you can see the PS5 gamepad from different perspectives. The publisher had already given details of the DualSense: new features include haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The challenge for the designers was to "make the controller feel smaller than it looks". At first glance, the design of the PS5 controller looks rounder than that of the current DualShock.
Similar to that Console design for the PlayStation 5: The new console has a sweeping look – and is therefore different from previous generations. We have integrated the new video for DualSense below. Both the console and the gamepad are scheduled to be launched in late 2020. So far, Sony has not given prices for the PlayStation 5. There is also no specific release date for the new console.
