So far, it has not been possible to transfer a game save from the original action game Spider-Man on the PS4 to the PS5 version of Spider-Man Remastered. However, the development studio Insomniac Games announced some time ago that they wanted to submit a corresponding update – and the team has kept its word.
As the developers announced via Twitter, the update is now available for download for the PS4 version of Spider-Man. This means that it is now possible to transfer your existing Save Games to Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5 without any problems and without detours. The update also includes some costumes for the Marvel superhero. At the same time, a corresponding update for the remastered version is available, which allows the import of the Save Games and includes various bug fixes. Among other things, there is a bug in Rest Mode which, in the worst case, could lead to the game crashing. Here is a short guide to transferring the Save Games:

1. Update the game for PS4 / PS5 to the latest version
2. Press R1 in the main menu of Spider-Man on PS4 to upload the save game
3. Press R1 in the main menu of Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5 to download the Save Game
