In 1995 Rayman made his first appearance on the Atari Jaguar. Only a short time later, the platform of the same name was also released on other systems – including an implementation for PlayStation, Sega Saturn and MS-DOS. Almost 25 years later, a reinterpretation of the classic was presented as a remake by a fan. This is Rayman Redemption, which is now available free of charge via Gamejolt can be downloaded. You can find a trailer below.

Developer Ryemanni has expanded the original with new worlds, levels, mini-games and various collectibles. More details and pictures of the game can be found on the website look at. Publisher Ubisoft, on the other hand, is currently resting the main line of Rayman somewhat. Although an offshoot for Apple Arcade was released in 2019 with Rayman Mini, the last main part with Rayman Legends was over seven years ago. Game designer Michel Ancel from Ubisoft expressed the wish in 2017 to bring back the platformer for a fourth part after developing Beyond Good & Evil 2. Since then, however, there has been no news about Rayman. We will keep you up to date with new information.

Even today, platform fans can look forward to the return of another figure from the old days. With Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, publisher Activision will unveil a brand new part. Parts 1 to 3 were last published here in the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy in 2017 as a completely revised remake.
