Once again, an industry insider is certain: Starfield, the new AAA project from Bethesda, should appear this year if possible. There is also talk of an exclusive release on Xbox and PC.

There have been several rumors that Starfield, Bethesda’s current AAA project, will be released later this year. Last spoke in March about Jeff Grubb from Venture Beat about itthat those responsible are probably planning a big E3 announcement with many new details in order to then bring the game, completely in the Fallout 4 style, to the market at the end of 2021.

Im “Xbox Two”-Podcast the topic came up again a few days ago. This time around, Rand Al Thor gave inside insights (via Pure Xbox):

“I’ve been told by very reliable people that Starfield (buy now ) will be 100 percent Xbox exclusive. I even placed bets on it. And I don’t bet unless I know I’ll win the bet. So I’m really, really confident that Starfield will only be released for Xbox, and I’ve also been told that Microsoft is doing everything it can to bring the game out this Christmas. They really want Starfield to come out around Christmas time. The game is basically done – it is currently in “bug squashing mode”, much like Halo Infinite. It would be a huge boon to Game Pass and Xbox if both Halo and Starfield could be released this fall. “

Long story short. There is again talk of a release date this year. In addition, Starfield is supposed to appear exclusively in the Xbox universe, which by the way includes the PC. What do you think? Would you look forward to an announcement at E3? Apropos: Incidentally, this year E3 will take place in a purely digital formfrom June 12th to 15th.
