From August 18, 2020, hobby pilots can fly around the world again. Microsoft has released the Microsoft Flight Simulator. The game will only be released for the PC that day. An implementation for Xbox One is still in development. A total of three editions will be available for the launch.

After numerous alpha phases in the past months, Xbox Game Studios and the Asobo Studio team have announced the release for the Microsoft Flight Simulator. The flight simulation for the PC will be released on August 18, 2020. The title will also be available in the Xbox Game Pass from this day. Microsoft also introduced three different editions of flight simulation today.

The standard version (69.99 euros) of the Microsoft Flight Simulator contains a total of 20 aircraft models and 30 handmade airport replicas. In the Deluxe Edition (89.99 euros) fans can look forward to five more planes and airports. With 30 airplane models and 40 airport replicas, the Premium Deluxe Edition (119.99 euros) offers the most content. However, you will only be able to fly some machines if you buy one of the more expensive versions. This includes, for example, the 787 Dreamliner from Boeing. You can find a list below.

The situation is similar with the airports of the Microsoft Flight Simulator. With Frankfurt Airport, an airport from Germany has also made it into the exclusive circle of handmade replicas. But if you want to take off and land there soon, you have to buy the Premium Deluxe Edition. The Heathrow Airport in London can only be found in the expensive version. The list is below.

You can find these airports in the three versions of the simulation.

Incidentally, the implementation for the Xbox Game Pass is the standard version of the Microsoft Flight Simulator. The release for Xbox One remains unknown.
