For the high-tech show CES 2021, the people at Sony have released a new trailer for Playstation 5 games and noted on the end screen that the release of Project Athia is targeted for January 2022. There are now also release time windows for games like Pragmata, Ghostwire Tokyo or Stray.
Sometimes the fine print is worth reading, and apparently especially if you find it in Sony's Playstation 5 show trailers. The high-tech show CES 2021, which is usually held in Los Angeles, took place virtually on Monday, January 11, 2021. As part of the show, those responsible at Sony have released a new trailer for upcoming games on the Playstation 5. The 30 seconds may not be particularly exciting for everyone. Unless you're a fan of Capcom's action-adventure Pragmata, which has been postponed until 2023. Or wait for Project Athia from Luminous Productions and Square Enix.
Then there's positive news. The small print on the final screen of Sony's CES trailer specifies January 2022 as the release period (via Polygon). By the way, there is no talk of Final Fantasy 16. But we know that Ratchet & Clank and Horizon Forbidden West are definitely planned for 2021. Solar Ash is scheduled to arrive in June 2021, Stray in October 2021, Kena in March 2021. Returnal is scheduled for March 19, 2021, while Little Devil Inside is scheduled for July and Ghostwire Tokyo for October.
If the developers of Project Athia want to keep their schedule, then a small information offensive can be expected in 2021, which reveals more about the (probable) action adventure. And then it will probably also be determined whether Project Athia will keep its name, because after all, as is often emphasized, it is a working title. And maybe those who want a Playstation 5 will have been able to purchase such a console at home by January 2022.
