  • Watching others playing is more popular than watching sports programs, especially among 18-25 year olds.
  • Fast performance is vital for gamers and is said to be the most important aspect of gaming in all age groups.
  • All player groups, from beginners to prospective professionals, report that they missed everyday activities because they played video games for a long time. Lack of sleep is widespread in all countries examined.
  • More than 38 percent of players want to be professionals. That is three percent more than last year.
  • On average, video players spend six hours and 20 minutes a week playing online titles. However, the season has decreased by 11 percent compared to last year.
  • Players ages 18 to 45 prefer to play video games, while players aged 46 and over prefer to watch movies and TV shows.
