Resident Evil: Three adaptations in progress
Resident Evil seems to be particularly in demand right now. Not only have new games and remasters for the franchise been released regularly in recent years, with Resident Evil Village you can look forward to a new and scary adventure soon. But that's not all from the "Resident Evil" universe, because currently are three adaptations in progress:
- A new film directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down)
- Netflix live-action series about the Wesker children moving to New Raccoon City
- Netflix CGI series – Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness
In the upcoming CGI series there is a reunion with Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. If the trailer reminds you of films like RE: Degeneration, RE: Damnation and RE: Vendetta, don't be surprised. All projects share the same producer: Hiroyuki Kobayashi.
Haven't you seen all of the Resident Evil films with Milla Jovovich? You can change that now.
Infinite Darkness is said to be in eight hour-long episodes be divided. There is no exact release date yet, but you will have to be patient until 2021. Not much is known about the story either. We'll keep you up to date.
