The next year, the story of Ethan Winters will continue with Resident Evil Village. According to a recent leak, fans can look forward to a multiplayer this time. A roadmap of Village Online content has surfaced on the internet. After the release, the multiplayer mode will be expanded with well-known characters from the series, skins and free updates.
The documents also show that Capcom has taken a close look at games like Fortnite, Apex Legends or Call of Duty. Warzone, all of which can be played at no additional cost. So there is a possibility that Resident Evil Village's multiplayer will also appear as a free-2-play version. According to the roadmap, the mode should also be linked to Resident Evil Revelations 3 – a game that has not yet been officially announced by Capcom. We'll keep you up to date here.
