Several Rocksteady employees issued a statement on the harassment allegations that surfaced this week. Accordingly, many parts of Wednesday's report should not correspond to the current situation in the studio. You can read the complete statement in the message.

On Wednesday, The Guardian article reported on a letter to the bosses at Rocksteady in which several employees at the development studio wrote about cases of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. A former employee reportedly showed the letter to the press. According to her statement in the report, these conditions are supposed to still prevail in the studio today.

Just a few hours after the allegations, another letter was published on the studio's Twitter account, in which employees comment on the current situation, who still work at Rocksteady and who signed the letter from 2018. A total of 8 of the 10 signatories continue to work there.

Rocksteady: Bosses are said to have ignored letter because of harassment in the studio

According to reports, Rocksteady officials paid little attention to a letter regarding sexual harassment in the studio.

The women's statement is said to have been written without the influence of those responsible at Rocksteady. You felt you were being misrepresented by the article and wanted to clarify some things. According to the letter from 2018, there should have been several meetings with the women of the studio, where they can talk about incidents in a safe atmosphere. Strategies for the future were also discussed. The recently published letter painted a different picture – it reported only from a single meeting. In addition, none of the women should have wanted the 2018 letter to suddenly be shared with the press.

Another charge of the then employee was that the letter should initially be kept behind closed doors so that the new project "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" is not endangered. This is also not supposed to be true. According to this, the women should have decided at the time to only share the letter internally. You can find the full statement below.

The former employee, who addressed the press alone, already commented on the statement on Twitter. We have included your tweets for you.
