League of Legends fans can look forward to the first single-player adventure from the world of MOBA from Riot Games. In December 2019, a first teaser for Ruined King: A League of Legends Story was presented as part of the Game Awards. Now publisher Riot Forge has not only revealed the period for the release, but also new details about the game. The title for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch is expected to appear in stores in early 2021. A conversion for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S is planned shortly afterwards. A free upgrade for all owners has already been confirmed here. The press release says about the game:
"Ruined King is an excellent opportunity to expand the world of Runeterra not only for brand new players but also for League of Legends (LoL) veterans. Ruined King will be the first single-player title in which the LoL world can be both played on consoles as well as on PC. We are delighted to take the plunge into developing stories and champions that have delighted our players for years and can't wait to join them in this new adventure to overthrow. The Airship Syndicate team is responsible for the development of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. The studio was already responsible for games like Darksiders Genesis or Battle Chasers: Nightwar. The new project is a turn-based role-playing game in which players will be out and about in Bilgewater and the Shadow Islands.
Together with the well-known champions Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri and Pyke, it is your task as a group to fight against mysterious opponents in the game world. In December, Riot Forge plans to reveal more details about Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Conv / Rgence: A League of Legends Story was also announced last year.
