Almost six years after the release of LittleBigPlanet 3, Sony has announced a spinoff with the popular PlayStation mascot. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the name of the new game and will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5. Playfully, it is a 3D platform that you can either enjoy alone or in co-op mode with up to three other players. As an announcement, the Sumo Digital team has also prepared a first trailer that gives us a first look at the game.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be optically based on the look of LittleBigPlanet. Many elements from the games at that time can also be found in the new 3D platform. Incidentally, the development team working on Sackboy Adventure, which was responsible for LittleBigPlanet 3 in 2014, is also working with Sumo Digital. An appointment for Sackboy: Sony has not yet revealed a big adventure.
Especially fans of colorful and fun adventures got their money's worth at yesterday's PS5 event. In addition to Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Astro's Playroom were also presented for the new console. The PlayStation 5 will appear in stores later this year. Other highlights of the PS5 live stream were Horizon: Forbidden West, Resident Evil 8 Village, Gran Turismo 7, Spider-Man: Miles Morales or the long-awaited Demon's Souls Remake.
