Sea of Thieves fans won’t have to wait long for Season 2 to start. As the Rare team has now announced, the new season starts on April 15, 2021.
In line with the announcement, the creators have also published a short teaser, which, however, does not yet reveal much about the content of Season 2. In the video, players only get a glimpse of new cosmetic items and another skin for a ship for the time being. Another highlight is an emote that will be available in the pirate game from next week. Accordingly, players will soon have the opportunity to conjure up a barrel and hide in it. This would make it easier for crews to plan ambushes and surprise opposing pirates in the future. Below we have the teaser for Season 2 of Sea of Thieves (buy now 37,94 € ) involved.
Earlier this year, Rare introduced fundamental changes to the game. In future, new content will only be added via seasonal updates. Previously, Sea of Thieves was always expanded with additional content on a monthly basis. Among other things, the creators also introduced a Plunder Pass that will provide you with new items every season. In just under three months, players can unlock a total of 100 levels. In addition to a free version, there is also a premium model of the Plunder Pass with further exclusive rewards. More details about Season 2 should be available soon.
