It will be about a year before fans on PC and Xbox Series X | S can immerse themselves in Bethesda’s new RPG, Starfield. In the past, the developers shared some small insights into the game and of course there are also numerous leaks around the new title.
New teaser video for Starfield
Yesterday published the YouTube-Kanal Bethesda Softworks UK a seven minute video entitled “Into the Starfield: The Endless Pursuit”. The video is now also available on the Bethesda Softworks channel. The video is the first in the “Into the Starfield” series, in which Bethesda employees talk about the development process for their new game.
In The Endless Pursuit, a couple of Bethesda employees give – including none other than Todd Howard – Insights into the company’s past and how older games help bring Starfield’s story to life.
Of course, Howard goes a little way into the fact that Bethesda games often have a very long lifespan:
“I think we underestimate how long people will play. We look at Skyrim ten years later and it’s still alive.”
“Our games have two lives, so to speak. We create the game, we tell the stories we want to tell. When we give it to the players, they make it their own. They tell their own stories, and create their own stories with ours Tools, “ explains Matt Carofano, the game’s art director.
A concept art image is also shared in the video, which suggests that players could have a cat as a petwhich is pretty nice.
Starfield to be released on November 11, 2022 for PC and Xbox Series X | S.
