In a few days, on May 26, will appear on PC and Mac Greymoor the new chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online. In an article on the official website of TESO the Zenimax developers are now giving you tips on how to start your adventure in the western sky from the very first minute. How do you get into the new zone? How do you start the antiquarian's career? Where do you go down to the black distance? And how do you get the pre-order and CE items? The answers to all of these questions are given below.

Arrival at the western edge of the sky

Once you get the chapter, there are several ways to get to the western edge of the sky.

Travel across a shrine

If you explore the new areas with an existing character, the easiest way to get to the new area is to travel there using a shrine. To do this, open your map, select the "western sky edge" area and then the shrine to the docks of loneliness (this should be the only one available).

Starts the main Greymoor quest

The main questline too Greymoor you can find it in your collections menu if you select stories and then the chapters. Under the point you will find Greymoor and there the first quest called "The Rising Storm" – then you can start! The quest shows you the way to the boat that leaves after loneliness. Small hint: If you want to get started with the main storyline of "Greymoor", we strongly recommend you first the prologue Greymoor to play now for everyone ESOPlayer is available.

Play the new tutorial

You can also start with a new character in the western sky edge, with which you complete the new chapter tutorial. Then you start your adventure in the new area.

Now that you are in the western edge of the sky, you can travel to loneliness and experience the main story of the chapter or explore it as you please. Don't forget there are no level restrictions if you want to check out the new chapter and area – both new and veteran players can explore the home of the North!

Career as an antiquarian

If you want to join scholars, historians and archaeologists from the antiquarian circle and start digging up Tamriel's hidden relics and treasures, you can unlock the new antique system as follows:

  1. Visit the antiquarian circle in the city of Solitude in the western edge of the sky (right next to the Bard College).
    1. Look at your map in solitude, there the antiquarian circle has its own symbol.
  2. Talk to Verita Numida for a special tool, the Antiquarian's Eye, a tutorial quest, and tracks.
  3. Complete both quests that Verita will give you.
  4. Start your hunt for antiques!

To get the most out of the new system, take a look the official guide at. Good Hunt!

Travel to blackness

If you are primarily interested in exploring the underground world of black distance, you can start your journey in different ways.

Find a Dwemer Elevator

In the western edge of the sky are three Dwemer lifts, which give you access to the caverns below. You will probably come across these if you are exploring on your own, but if you are in a hurry to go underground, we recommend looking around the area south of the docks of loneliness.

Find the cave entrance

If you get involved in the main plot line of the area, you will soon discover the cave entrance to black distance. The quest will guide you to its location, but it is also possible to find and use this entrance before you get to this point in history; so keep your eyes open!

Once you have discovered black distance, you unlock at least one shrine so that you can easily get in and out of the underground realm. To do this, simply open your map of the western edge of the sky and click on the rune in the top right to reveal the map of the gray-gray caverns, which contain all the shrines, interesting places and other points of interest that you may have already discovered.
