As the only magazine in Germany and only one of the few worldwide, we were allowed to take a detailed look at the PS5 version of the Playstation 5 launch title Spider-Man: Miles Morales. We got about an hour of new gameplay and talked to lead developers and Miles Morales actor Nadji Jeter. The detailed preview will appear on October 23.
The Playstation 5 will finally be released in Germany on November 19, 2020. Part of the launch line-up will be Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The action-adventure will follow up on the story of the PS4 blockbuster Spider-Man from 2018, but this time it puts Miles Morales instead of Peter Parker in the focus of the narrative. The game is also being developed again by Insomniac Games and is supposed to be a kind of spin-off. The developers compare Miles Morales himself with the Uncharted release The Lost Legacy by their colleagues from Naughty Dog.
But will the new Spider-Man be able to build on the high quality of the last game? Will there be side missions or just a short story that would have fit in a DLC? How do the developers keep the game world looking fresh? Which advantages of the PS5 hardware does Spider-Man: Miles Morales use? These and many other questions that have been asked repeatedly in the community since the game was announced will be answered in our big preview of Spider-Man: Miles Morales on October 23rd.
