Star Wars: Comic seems to confirm leak to the future of the film

of Andreas Bertits
There was a recent leak that showed the possible future of the Star Wars film series. A comic now published gives an indication that there might be something in it.

Marvel's comic book series "The Rise of Kylo Ren" tells what between Starwars: Episode 6 – The Return of the Jedi and Episode 7 – The Force Awakens happened. The current issue seems to confirm a leak that recently came up about the future of Star Wars films.

Caution! Here are potential spoilers!

The leak, which comes from two independent sources, explained that the new films were set around 400 years before the Skywalker saga. We follow a group of Jedi Knights who set out during the "High Republic Era" to explore the unknown regions of the galaxy and encounter, among other things, a kind of Sith god.

In the current issue # 2 of the comic series "The Rise of Kylo Ren" we learn that Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, together with a young Ben Solo and their companion Lor San Tekka, are heading to an old Jedi outpost that takes care of itself the outskirts of the galaxy, located just before the unknown regions. Luke hopes to find Jedi artifacts there. This outpost is said to have belonged to a group of Jedi Knights who went to the Unknown Regions during the "High Republic Era".

That sounds pretty familiar. Are Luke, Ben and Lor San Tekka discovering the outpost that the "new" heroes of the upcoming Star Wars films have built to explore the unknown regions of the galaxy from there? It doesn't seem to be a coincidence. Supposedly, this month we are supposed to learn more about the future of Star Wars, which Disney is developing under the name "Project Luminous". Then we will know what is wrong with the previous leaks.
