The next three films in the Star Wars space saga were actually scheduled for 2022, 2024 and 2026. Despite all the changes in the past few months, this data is still being maintained.
The film trilogy, on which director Rian Johnson is working, can no longer be heard and the game of thrones makers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have turned their backs on Disney and are going their planned Starwars– Don't make films. Another flick in the space saga has not been officially announced here and there, despite rumors. And yet the next film is due to be released in 2022.
The plan is
In May of last year, Disney said we'd see the next movie after Star Wars: Episode 9 – The Rise of Skywalker on December 16, 2022. The subsequent stripes should then come on December 20, 2024 and December 18, 2026. As early as November, Disney assured that the next films will be released in cinemas on the dates mentioned. And if you look at the newly released release schedule for Disney projects, then that's still the case.
The question now, of course, is how Disney wants to make a new film in such a short time when there doesn't appear to be a script or a director. Perhaps the company is announcing something on Star Wars Day on May 4 that sheds light on the dark.
