"We have a lot that we are now ready to share with the fans," said Lucasfilm Games VP Douglas Reilly on StarWars.com, "because we've been working quietly behind the scenes for a while waited this moment. " This means the return of Lucasfilm Games, the brand under which Disney will again sell Star Wars and Indiana Jones games in the future. This includes a new open world game coming from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment.
Games come from different studios
"We're looking for great teams that can make great games for all of our IPs. We have a team of professionals here at Lucasfilm Games who work with the developers, who create the stories, do the creative, create the games, with that they are really well received by fans and delivered across a wide range of platforms, genres and experiences so all of our fans can enjoy the IPs they know and love, "continued Douglas Reilly.
This means that Disney / Lucasfilm Games is now working with several companies to publish games under their own brands, including Star Wars. And Electronic Arts will continue to do so. "We are really proud of the games we have developed with EA," said Reilly. "We'll keep working with them and our relationship has never been stronger. While we can't reveal many details right now, we have a number of projects in the works with the talented teams at EA."
That means that in the future we will get a lot of games under the Disney and Lucasfilm brands. And these come from different studios and publishers. Douglas Reilly stated, "This is just the beginning of what I believe will be a very exciting year for Lucasfilm Games."
