Star Wars: "Everything is fake anyway"

from Dominik Zwingmann
A leader from Lucasfilm has found Star Wars on Twitter unusual word for the resentment of some fans. According to this, fans should calm down because of the continuity and can decide for themselves what belongs to the canon of the saga and what not, because it is "fake everything" in Star Wars. There is an official story internally so that upcoming production is as coordinated as possible. However, fans can put together their own story from different stories.

Matt Martin of Lucasfilm commented on Star Wars in somewhat unusual terms on Twitter. Martin works as a creative executive in the story group of the production company and is therefore also responsible for the history of the sci-fi saga. The continuity of the story plays an important role – especially for fans.

In the past few years the universe has been expanded and the question is often asked what is canon and what is not. Even after Disney took over the franchise, a few things have changed again. Matt Martin from Lucasfilm seems to have his own opinion on the subject. According to a tweet, it seems important internally what belongs to the Star Wars canon so that the official story is as coherent as possible. Fans, on the other hand, can choose freely in his opinion and in the end call this "true story".

In another tweet, Matt Martin would like to point out that the world of Star Wars is fake anyway and you can therefore put together your own story. Quite interesting words from the official Lucasfilm series. Several Star Wars projects are currently in production. For example, the second season of The Mandalorian is set to start in October. A series on Obi-Wan Kenobi is also in the works for Disney +. Star Wars is currently taking a break in the cinema until December 2022.
