So far, we hardly know anything about the new series Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. There are many rumors, but the only officially known so far is that we will experience the Jedi Master during an adventure that is set between the movies episode 3 and episode 4.
Attention! Here are spoilers!
We also know that actor Hayden Christensen will return as Darth Vader / Anakin Skywalker. Disney has confirmed that itself. But is Vader also Obi-Wan Kenobi's great opponent? It could be that we will see someone else here who does this part. Actor Ray Park posted a picture of his mask as Darth Maul on Instagram. Curiously, the actor gave his status "Tatooine".
Could that mean we'll see Darth Maul again on Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi? It would be conceivable. We know from Solo: A Star Wars Story and from the cartoon series Star Wars: Rebels that Maul was active between episodes 3 and 4. However, he was killed in Rebels by Kenobi. It is possible that we will see this scene again, that it will be shot again for Kenobi, so that those who do not know the Rebels can also find out what happened to him.
The hint doesn't have to mean that Darth Maul gets a bigger role in the series or shows up at all. Maybe it's just a dream sequence or a holocommunication like in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Just a few days ago, Obi-Wan actor Ewan McGregor announced that filming for the series should start in March. It makes perfect sense that masks and other things are already being produced for it. It is not yet known when we will see the series.
