Star Wars: New book about the Skywalker family announced – game update

Even if the story of the Skywalker saga ended with episode 9, the makers of LucasFilm still have other things to tell about the family. Among other things, fans will soon get another insight into the world of the Skywalkers with a new fictional biography. From May 4, 2021, the book called "Skywalker: A Family at War" will be available in stores.

In the biography, all the events in the Skywalker saga from the films as well as the books and comics will soon be scrutinized again. All characters in the family should do their part in the biography. From Shmi Skywalker to Ben Solo and Rey, who made their contributions to family history in the new trilogy. We will probably not find out what new details will emerge from the book until the release in May 2021.

"I'm so excited to tell the story of the Skywalkers from the perspective of a biographer. (…) After seeing Star Wars for the first time as a kid, I watched the films over and over again with the intention of trying new things in the narrative that I didn't notice before. Basically, I'm writing the book I would have wished for in those days when I was hungry to find out all about the characters. " – said author Kristin Baver about the book.

A few days ago Lucasfilm Games and Ubisoft announced the development of a new Star Wars game. The title is in the works by the makers of The Division 2. Most recently, the first supposed details about the project's gameplay appeared here.
