Star Wars Project Luminous – a new era or a game? Secret will be revealed in February
What is behind the mysterious Star Wars Project Luminous? In February 2020, Lucasfilm and Disney will reveal the secret, possibly introducing a new Star Wars era that will accompany us in the coming years. According to current rumors, this could also be a game responsible for the launch of Luminous.
At the beginning of the month, rumors surfaced for the first time about Project Luminous, which could possibly be the new era of Star Wars. The events of the new story are said to take place 400 years before the Skywalker saga and use various forms of media to tell the story in the coming years. The approach of the Marvel Cinematic Universe should be followed.
But soon the secret of Project Luminous will be revealed. As ABC reporter Clayton Sandell reported on Twitter, Lucasfilm will talk about the new project on February 24, 2020. However, it is still unclear exactly what is being presented there. Rumors of a possible game have recently surfaced, which is said to even usher in the new era in 2021. We also do not know whether it is an AAA title like Jedi Fallen Order or a smaller project. Project Luminous should get a new name at the unveiling.
After the release of Episode 9 in the cinema and the associated end of the Skywalker saga, fans now have to prepare for a little Star Wars break. The next film in the sci-fi series is currently scheduled for December 2022. Further films will follow in 2024 and 2026. Future subscribers to Disney + will, however, be provided with The Mandalorian and the announced series with Obi-Wan Kenobi in the future. Disney + starts in Germany on March 24th.
