Star Wars fans may be able to look forward to a new game soon. An entry for a previously unknown Project Maverick was discovered in the European PlayStation Store. Because this is only an entry in the database, there are no further details about the title. The new project is already being discussed wildly among fans on the Internet.

A few hours ago, a new entry called "Star Wars: Project Maverick" was added to the European PlayStation Store. So far, however, it is still completely unclear what it could be about. The title was discovered by the Twitter bot "@psnrelease", which shares all new entries in the PlayStation Store in real time.

The bot has already made some announcements in the past. This included the new edition of Resident Evil 3 or the demo of Final Fantasy 7 Remake that is now available. Similar to these two games, the entry of Star Wars: Project Maverick is not yet publicly available on the PlayStation Store. Instead, the entry only appears in the Sony database. So fans of the sci-fi series will have to be patient until the project is announced.

In addition to a star destroyer, the artwork of Star Wars: Project Maverick also shows several X-Wings. In the ResetERA forum, players are currently speculating wildly about what could be behind the project. While some assume that this is the "unusual game" from EA Motive, others can also imagine a new VR game in the cockpit of an X-Wing. Just a few days ago, it was revealed that EA may have posted another Star Wars title. Now only the sequel of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the game by EA Motive are in development. We will keep you up to date in this regard.
